11/11/2007 Andy Grove Calls for 'Cultural Revolution' in Biomedical Research
Andrew S. Grove, co-founder of computer chip company Intel, spoke at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience on Sunday, November 4, arguing that the biomedical research enterprise needs a “cultural revolution." Michael J. Fox issued a statement expressing disappointment at this third veto of Mr. Bush's presidency and announcing that he will form Cures and Hope USA, a non-partisan, pro-stem cell educational and political advocacy organization dedicated to building nationwide support for stem cell research.
