June 23 Virtual Roundtable Now Available for Online Viewing

Research Roundtables hosted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation in various locations across the country bring patients and caregivers the latest news, advances and breakthroughs in PD research from the world’s top neuroscientists. On Tuesday, June 23, the second of three 2009 Research Roundtables was Webcast live to allow even more individuals to hear from our expert panel and submit their own questions on PD and the state of research toward a cure.

The June 23 Virtual Roundtable, Webcast live from Boston, Massachusetts, featured MJFF CEO Katie Hood and Associate Director of Research Programs Mark Frasier, PhD. During Q&A, audience questions (both from attendees in the room and in the Webcast audience) were addressed by  Robert Gould, PhD, of The Broad Institute (Massachusetts Institute of Technology); Michael A. Schwarzschild, MD, PhD, of MassGeneral Institute for Neurodegenerative Disease; and David Weiner, MD, of EMD Serono, Inc. and the MJFF Scientific Advisory Board.

Log on to watch video of the presentation and hear the latest PD news from our world-class research staff and scientific advisors.

A third Virtual Roundtable will be Webcast on November 21. (Detailed registration information will be posted on the MJFF Web site closer to the date).

Virtual Roundtables are made possible by a generous lead gift from Solvay Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
