Join Team Fox at the 2024 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend

Make the most of your miles and help race towards a cure for Parkinson's with Team Fox at the 2024 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend!

Team Fox Athletes receive several benefits upon securing their confirmed entry on the team. These include, but are not limited to guaranteed race entry, access to training programs, personalized coaching support from certified running coaches, a complimentary Team Fox endurance jersey, a personalized fundraising page, opportunity to earn branded swag, and an invitation to participate in on-site race weekend activities.

In exchange, Team Fox athletes must commit to a fundraising minimum for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.  For the 2024 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend, Team Fox Athletes are able to choose from the following events and the associated fundraising commitments:

Walt Disney World® 5K ($500) - SOLD OUT
Walt Disney World® 10K ($750)
Walt Disney World® Half Marathon ($1,250) - SOLD OUT
Walt Disney World® Marathon ($2,000)
Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge (Half Marathon and Marathon) ($3,000)
Dopey Challenge (5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon) ($4,500)

Bonus Athlete

Already have an entry to the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend and want to support Team Fox? We invite to join as a Bonus Athlete. We ask you to fundraise a minimum of $750 in exchange for an invitation to race weekend activities and a complimentary Team Fox jersey. Email athletes@michaeljfox.org to join.

FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By joining Team Fox for the 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, you will be given guaranteed entry for the race of your choosing in exchange for raising a minimum of the amount listed above due no later than April 5, 2024. 30% of your commitment must be raised by December 1, 2023. You will be responsible for completing both Team Fox registration and race registration before all relevant deadlines.

CONFIRMATION OF TERMS

If selected for the team I understand I am responsible for all charges if I have not fulfilled my commitment amount by April 5, 2024. If I am not able to participate in the 2024 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend due to injury or other circumstances, I will still be required to fulfill the commitment amount by check(s) or credit card(s) by April 5, 2024. I understand I am responsible for claiming my guaranteed entry, and will pay all registration fees associated with my participation. I understand I am responsible for providing my credit card information electronically upon creation of my Team Fox fundraising page. I understand I will be charged a $25 registration fee. I understand I am not on the team until officially notified by a member of the Team Fox staff.

STATEMENT OF INTENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Yes, if selected for the team I authorize the Michael J. Fox Foundation to use any photographs or video taken in conjunction with this Team Fox event for future promotional purposes including but not limited to, print and social media.

Yes, if selected for the team I would like to join Team Fox for the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and commit to the terms described above. By signing below, I understand that I am responsible for my fundraising commitment and any additional costs associated with the race or travel to the event. I waive and release Team Fox and The Michael J. Fox Foundation from all liabilities that may arise from my participation in the race.
