Parkinson’s IQ + You, Detroit

Join us in Detroit, Michigan on May 4, 2024, for our free educational event designed for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones. This in-person event features a program with sessions on navigating Parkinson's, managing care and learning about research participation. The accompanying Partner Expo includes information on treatment options and local resources for the Parkinson’s community.

Date and Time: Saturday, May 4, 2024, 9a.m. – 2p.m. ET 

Registration and Partner Expo open at 9a.m.; program begins at 10a.m. 

Venue: Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center

Panelists discuss the importance of seeing a movement disorder specialist and building a care team of other providers.

Researchers discuss progress, challenges and reasons for optimism in search for better treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s.

More Event Details

Parking: Both valet and self-parking are free for all attendees with a validation ticket from our event's registration table. Valet is available at the main entrance of the Marriott; self-parking is available in the SP+ Garage located at 414 Renaissance Dr W, Detroit, MI 48243

Accessibility: This event is fully accessible and is designed for people at every stage in their journey with Parkinson's. 

Meals: Complimentary breakfast, snacks and boxed lunch will be provided to all registered attendees. Coffee, tea and water will also be available throughout the day. View the program schedule and more important details on our website.
