This summer, four individuals — including one with Parkinson's — are endeavoring to row 2,800 miles across the Pacific Ocean. The efforts of the group, called Team Human Powered Potential, are being supported by a historic 3:1 match from an anonymous donor. Every $1 raised will turn into $4 to power Parkinson's research.
The goal: to raise $28 million, with your help. Are you in?
We need your help to raise $28 million this summer and maximize the potential of this unprecedented match. No matter how you contribute, every dollar donated now through August 31 will be matched!

Meet the Rowers
In early June, Team Human Powered Potential — Patrick Morrissey, Brendan Cusick, Peter Durso and Scott Forman — will embark on their journey from Monterey, California to Kauai, Hawaii to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's research. The team, including one member living with Parkinson's (Patrick), will row 24 hours a day — in intervals of two hours on, two hours off — for approximately 30-40 days.
Their 2,800-mile journey is the inspiration behind our $28 million goal and Summer Challenge.
Team Human Powered Potential's Journey
"When we reach Hawaii, I will be the first person with Parkinson’s to row across the Pacific. I'm doing it for everyone in the Parkinson's community enduring the challenges of this disease every day."
- Patrick Morrissey, Team Human Powered Potential
Whether you join our Summer Challenge, support the rowers' journey or make a direct donation, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to accelerate new Parkinson's treatment and ultimately, a cure.
