Amar Kuchinad

Amar Kuchinad joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2012. Mr. Kuchinad is the Group CEO of Copper.co, a digital asset custody and training solution.

Prior to this, he was the founder and CEO of ElectroniFIE Inc., a start-up corporate bond trading platform. He also served as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he assisted rule-makers with the implementation of regulations required by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, as well as on the application of existing regulations governing securities markets and market participants. From 2005 through 2011, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, responsible for a variety of equity and credit trading desks.

Prior to joining the Board, Mr. Kuchinad served on the Foundation's Leadership Council from 2009 to 2012. As a member of Team Fox, he has run in multiple marathons, half marathons and other races, including the 2012 NYC Ironman, to raise funds for the Foundation's ambitious research agenda.

He received his AB in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 1996. Mr. Kuchinad and his wife, Rachel, live in New York City with their three children.
