Fred G. Weiss

Fred G. Weiss joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2000. He is the CEO of FGW Associates Inc.

He began his career with Exxon Corp. working in Asia, Europe and the U.S. and then spent 20 years at Warner Lambert. At the time of his retirement in 1996, he was vice president of planning, investment and development, as well as chief investment officer.

In addition to his role at FGW Associates, Mr. Weiss currently serves as an independent director, Audit Committee chair and vice chairman of the board of BlackRock's equity/fixed income mutual funds. He is the Audit Committee chair of Actavis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and also works with and invests in several private firms in the healthcare field. He is the managing partner of ADA Holdings and is also on the board of the Donna Klein Jewish Academy of Boca Raton.

Mr. Weiss received a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and studied at the London School of Economics.
