Karen Finerman joined the Board of Directors of the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2005.
She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Metropolitan Capital Advisors, a New York-based hedge fund that she co-founded in 1992. She is a permanent member of the CNBC financial news show Fast Money.
Ms. Finerman graduated from the Wharton School with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She also is a trustee of Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx and serves on their investment committee.
She lives in New York City with her husband, financier Lawrence Golub and their two sets of twins.
