Melanie Isbill joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2021. She is currently Chief Marketing Officer for RaceTrac.
Ms. Isbill started her career with RaceTrac in 2008 as Commercial Analyst. After leaving to earn her master’s degree, she returned in 2011 as Private Label Brand Manager. She served as Director of Brand Communications and Executive Director of Marketing before assuming her role as Chief Marketing Officer.
In addition to being a member of the Senior Leadership Team and a RaceTrac Board Member, Melanie is also actively involved in RaceTrac’s Women’s Leadership Business Resource Group, LEAD. In 2016, Melanie was named a Top Women in Convenience by CSNews and Who’s Who in Marketing at Leading Retailers by Shopper Marketing. Melanie is a member of the North America National Association of Convenience Stores Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council.
As CMO, Melanie leads RaceTrac’s charitable giving strategy. RaceTrac has donated over $5 million to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research since beginning their partnership in 2011. Each April, during Parkinson’s Awareness Month, RaceTrac supports the Foundation through in-store fundraising efforts. RaceTrac also hosts an annual 5K at Truist Park in Atlanta where all proceeds benefit the foundation. Melanie’s father, Carl Bolch, Jr., is a member of the Michael J. Fox Foundation Patient Council.
Prior to joining RaceTrac, Melanie was an intern at The Coca-Cola Company and Product Assistant at Macy’s Merchandising Group. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in marketing and minor in Italian language. She earned her MBA in marketing and finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Melanie and her husband, Steve, have two children, Lily Ray and Eddie, and two dogs, Max and Sammy.
