Attention Atlanta: Lamb Chop Is Coming!

Attention Atlanta: Lamb Chop Is Coming!

Many grew up watching Shari Lewis and her iconic puppet, “Lamb Chop.” Although Shari passed away in 1998, Lamb Chop lives on today, performing with Shari’s daughter, Mallory Lewis. In April, those in the Atlanta area can see Mallory and Lamb Chop—and benefit Parkinson’s disease awareness, education and research through the Wilkins Parkinson’s Foundation.

At 6:30 p.m. on both Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13, at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church in Roswell, Georgia, Mallory and Lamb Chop will entertain audiences. Mallory joined the cause in honor of her father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s over a decade ago. She says that deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery has been a “miracle” for him, but “the disease continues to progress. For MY father and for ALL the mothers and fathers, we need a cure.”
