And who’s that sporting this great tee? It’s Michael J. Fox Foundation staff member, Michelle Aquino! Having joined MJFF in 2009, Michelle currently works as a Special Events Officer on the Development Team where she assists with the planning and production of the Foundation’s large-scale benefit events. Each year, Michelle plays an integral role in helping to raise approximately $6 million through events such as MJFF’s annual Funny Thing Gala.

When she’s not busy organizing events for the Foundation, Michelle spends her time planning and supporting events for Team Fox! As an active Team Fox member, Michelle ran the New York City Half Marathon in 2010, co-chaired a tournament style Team Fox event called Flippin’ Parkinson’s and has since gotten involved with the Team Fox Young Professionals of New York City.  “Like all of my colleagues here at The Michael J. Fox Foundation, finding a cure for Parkinson’s is a cause that I deeply care about,“ notes Michelle.  “Furthermore, doing my part to help speed those efforts is something that I am honored to support both personally and professionally.”
