Leaving His Wheelchair Behind to Participate in Olympic Torch Relay

Leaving His Wheelchair Behind to Participate in Olympic Torch Relay

Over the course of 70 days, 8,000 people across the United Kingdom will take part in the Olympic torch relay, leading up to the London 2012 Olympic Games. Among them was Andy Seward, 67, who has Parkinson’s disease. An active sportsman for much of his life, Seward was inspired to get out of his wheelchair to carry the Olympic flame through the village of Braunton. Watch the video of Seward carrying the torch.
