With #2MillionTuesday fast approaching, we are gearing up for an inspired day of giving in pursuit of a cure for Parkinson's disease. This year, we're upping the ante on what we can achieve together, thanks to the generous $2 million match from Tucker Wilson of New Canaan, Connecticut and Christine and Sonny Whelen of Lyme, Connecticut.
Tucker explained his decision to provide a match gift to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) saying, "In this season of both thanks and giving, I hope everyone thinks about those that could really use your help. We all have a chance to do something very special." Echoing that sentiment, Sonny -- a member of MJFF's Board -- describes his family's motivation behind the donation adding, "Christine and I hope this match serves as leverage for others to make meaningful gifts on Giving Tuesday."
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 27 and double your commitment, alongside thousands of others. Together, we can transform treatments and speed a future without Parkinson's.
