Today, MJFF announced the promotion of Sohini Chowdhury to Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In her previous role as Senior Vice President of Research Partnerships and throughout her twelve-year career at the Foundation, Ms. Chowdhury has been instrumental in driving the Foundation's innovative alliances with key Parkinson's stakeholders. As Deputy Chief Executive Officer, she will continue to spearhead these important research networks while providing broader organizational oversight alongside MJFF CEO Todd Sherer, PhD, and Co-Founder and Executive Vice Chairman Debi Brooks.
Early in her tenure at the Foundation, Ms. Chowdhury was responsible for establishing and leading the Foundation's formal industry strategy, building fruitful ongoing relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech firms as research partners and as sponsors of the Foundation's scientific and educational programs. She also helped shape the Research Partnerships team, which now encompasses MJFF's industry strategy as well as the Foundation's landmark biomarker study PPMI, clinical trial-matching tool Fox Trial Finder and the online longitudinal research study Fox Insight.
