We thank you for your interest in this event series. Answers to common questions follow. For all events, we recommend wearing layers, as room temperatures can vary. If you have any other questions about Parkinson’s IQ + You logistics, please reach out to parkinsonsiq@michaeljfox.org.

Check-in and the Partner Expo open at 9 a.m. followed by programming starting at 10:00 a.m. The event will end at 2:00 p.m.

  • Will there be breaks?

Yes. There will be two breaks. You can leave the room as needed throughout the sessions.

  • Is there parking at the event, and how much does it cost?

Parking at the event is free! Please refer to the individual event pages for specific parking directions.

  • I am in a wheelchair. Is the venue fully accessible?

Accessibility is a top priority. Each individual event will be different, but all attendees in wheelchairs will be able to access the event space. Please refer to the individual event page for more information.

  • Is there a certain age requirement for event guests?

These events are open to all ages. Please keep in mind if considering bringing children that this will be a full day of educational content.

  • Can I arrive late or leave early?

  • Can I bring a guest?

Absolutely! We encourage all attendees to register prior to the event to ensure a faster check-in process upon arrival. Please share the registration link with your loved ones.

  • Can I sit with people I know?

There is no assigned seating and you may choose to sit with whomever you would like. We encourage you to arrive on time if you plan to sit with your group.

  • What happens if I need to cancel my registration?

Since this is a free event, there is no formal way to cancel your registration. However, you may email parkinsonsiq@michaeljfox.org to let us know about your cancellation.

  • What type of food will be provided?

There will be continental breakfast, pre-packaged snacks and boxed lunches. There will also be coffee, tea, water and soft drinks provided throughout the day.

  • What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will do our absolute best to accommodate any dietary restrictions. If you have any major concerns, please reach out to us directly at parkinsonsiq@michaeljfox.org.

  • Does Michael J. Fox attend the events?

Although Michael J. Fox would like to be at every event, his schedule does not permit it. He will not be attending these events though he continues to graciously appreciate your support.

  • Is there a hotel block at the event?

For some events in 2025, there will be limited guest rooms available at a discounted rate. To book a room at the event rate, please contact parkinsonsiq@michaeljfox.org for more information.
