Parkinson's disease (PD) can affect the autonomic nervous system, which controls the automatic and involuntary functions our bodies perform, like heartbeat and digestion. Many people with Parkinson’s experience autonomic symptoms, like bladder problems, low blood pressure and constipation. Even though these are all common symptoms of PD, they can be hard to talk about.
