Allison London was diagnosed with dystonia — the third most common movement disorder, which causes involuntary muscle spasms and contractions — at “the ripe old age of 30,” as she says in our latest podcast. September is Dystonia Awareness Month.
London shares the impact her disease has had on her life and her mission to raise awareness.
“I’m a writer whose spellcheck doesn’t recognize the name of my own condition. My smartphone autocorrects dystonia to dystopia,” she says.

Dystonia is also a symptom of Parkinson’s disease. Watch our webinar to learn more about this condition.
