  • Thy-1 Wild Type Human Alpha-Synuclein Mouse (Line 15)

Transgenic mice expressing wild type human alpha-synuclein directed by the murine Thy-1 promoter. Two separate founder lines with different expression levels are available. RRID:IMSR_JAX:017682

  • Lentiviral LRRK2 (G2019S)

Lentiviral vector expressing LRRK2 mutated at residue G2019S. Lentiviral eGFP available as a control in Reporter section.

Please note: This viral vector is not intended for in vivo use.

  • Alpha-Synuclein Filament-Specific Antibody*

Conformation-specific rabbit monoclonal antibody directed against the filamentous form of wild-type alpha-synuclein.

  • LRRK2 Antibody (MJFF3)

Rabbit monoclonal antibody directed against wild-type LRRK2. The antibody was mapped to the LRR domain of LRRK2 (AA 1035-1239).

  • LRRK2 KO Mouse

Knockout of LRRK2 created by deletion of exons 39-40 of the LRRK2 gene in the C57BL/6N mouse strain. RRID:IMSR_JAX:016121

  • Mouse Alpha-Synuclein Monomer Protein for Making Pre-Formed Fibrils

Full-length mouse alpha-synuclein monomeric protein specially formulated to generate pre-formed fibrils. Please note, we recommend this protein for in vitro studies but not for in vivo experiments (the protein is validated for pS129 alpha-synuclein pathology in vitro but in vivo validation failed as robust pS129 alpha-synuclein pathology was not observed). These highly pure proteins are recommended for biochemical studies and can be used to form fibrils, but these fibrils have been found to lack seeding activity.

Note: A protocol for generating pre-formed fibrils from this monomeric protein will be included with each order.

  • Human Alpha-Synuclein Monomer Protein for Making Pre-Formed Fibrils

Full-Length human alpha-synuclein monomeric protein specially formulated to generate pre-formed fibrils. These highly pure proteins are recommended for biochemical studies and can be used to form fibrils, but these fibrils have been found to lack seeding activity.

Note: A protocol for generating pre-formed fibrils from this monomeric protein will be included with each order.

  • Alpha-Synuclein Monomer Protein

Full-Length human alpha-synuclein monomeric protein generated in vitro.

Note: This protein was used to generate alpha-synuclein filament which was then used as antigen for the MJF-14 alpha-synuclein filament-specific antibody which is also available at Abcam.

"We have shown, thanks in part to MJFF, that researchers now have in their pantry the right ‘ingredients’, to... help to drive forward PD drug development.”
