Dr. Abigail Pfaff completed her PhD at the University of Liverpool in 2014. As part of her postdoctoral studies, she has generated targeted next-generation sequencing libraries and performed computational analysis of the data generated and wet lab validation of targets identified. Her current research focus is the role of retrotransposons in the predisposition to and progression of neurodegenerative diseases integrating genomic, transcriptomic and clinical data sets.
