Dr. Antonio P. Strafella is a neurologist with expertise in movement disorders and functional brain imaging. He is a Canada Research Chair in movement disorders and Neuroimaging, an associate professor in the deptartment of medicine/neurology at UHN, senior scientist in the Division of Brain Imaging & Behaviour Systems at the Toronto Western Research Institute and Associate Scientist in the PET Imaging Centre at CAMH. Using a number of PET tracers and novel radio-ligands, his studies focus on investigating the pathophysiology of motor, cognitive (e.g. executive dysfunction) and behavioral symptoms (e.g. ICDs, Hallucinations etc.) in Parkinson’s disease.
