Bryan Keller directs the program in applied statistics at Teachers College, Columbia University, where he is a faculty member in the department of human development. His research interests include causal inference and applications of data mining methods to social and behavior sciences. Dr. Keller is a 2020 recipient of a research award from the American Educational Research Association and the National Science Foundation for his work on effect heterogeneity in observational studies and he is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics. Dr. Keller's scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics, Psychometrika, Observational Studies and the Journal for Research on Educational Effectiveness.
