Cao Xiao is a PhD candidate in industrial and systems engineering at University of Washington, Seattle. Previously she received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in mathematics from Peking University in Beijing, China and from Boston College, respectively. Her research interests include developing optimization and machine learning models to enable effective problem solving for medical and health care applications.
