Dr. Chad Rydel Heatwole is a neurologist and clinical-researcher who has provided clinical care to individuals with neurological and neuromuscular disease for about 20 years. His long-standing research interests involve development of novel therapeutics and clinical trial optimization for people with neurological disease. He has designed and implemented over 40 research studies and has developed over 100 disease-specific instruments in 12 different languages. These instruments are currently used worldwide to advance therapeutic development. Through his role as director of the Outcomes division of the Center for Health + Technology, he guides an international multi-faceted research and operations center dedicated to harnessing state-of-the-art technologies to advance research and clinical care. His team is dedicated to advancing clinical trial readiness and developing responsive outcome measures for the Parkinson’s disease research community.
