Dr. Henchcliffe received her DPhil., in molecular biology at Oxford University, United Kingdom, and after a period of basic neuroscience research at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, and University of California, Berkeley, she received her MD from Columbia University. After completing her residency in neurology, also at Columbia, she completed a movement disorders fellowship with Dr. Stanley Fahn. She currently runs a busy clinical practice in Parkinson’s disease at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where she is the Daisy and Paul Soros Clinical Scholar in Neurology. She also directs the new Weill Cornell Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Institute, and serves on the steering committee for the NIH-funded study “Effects of Coenzyme Q10 in Parkinson’s Disease - Phase 3”. Dr. Henchcliffe is active in research on biomarker development, as well as stem cell technologies.
