Ethan G. Brown, MD, is an assistant professor and movement disorders neurologist at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and then completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in movement disorders at UCSF. Dr. Brown sees patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. His research interests include how environmental exposures contribute to the development of Parkinson’s disease and affect the course of the disease after it develops. He is also interested in more accurate and earlier diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and related conditions, and in understanding the course of prodromal Parkinson’s disease to inform effective clinical interventions in this key stage, before the disorder’s defining motor symptoms appear.
