Glenn Stebbins, PhD, is a professor in the department of neurological sciences at Rush University Medical Center. He has extensive experience with rating-scale testing and development, having participated in the development of the Unified Dyskinesia Rating Scale (UDysRS), serving on the steering committee of the Movement Disorder Society revision of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) and taking part in the current Common Data Elements recommended assessment for Parkinson’s disease (PD). He is actively involved in the development of validated, non-English translations of rating scales including the UDysRS and MDS-UPDRS. Dr. Stebbins currently serves as co-director for the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society Clinical Outcome Assessment Program and as consultant and chief statistician for numerous clinical studies in PD and other movement disorders.
