Lin Zhang received his MD from the Beijing Medical University and his PhD in neuroscience from Tulane University. He completed a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a fellowship at the University of Rochester. Dr. Zhang’s career has focused on treating people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and participating in cutting edge research to advance treatment options for his patients. His contributions were recently recognized with an appointment to the Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration and to chief of the movement disorder section. His passion for PD research is demonstrated through 20 years of research and a track record of developing strong ties with community providers that have made it possible to recruit and track study participants over time.
