Dr. Muralidhar Reddy Moola is co-founder and CEO of Anven Biosciences Inc. After obtaining his PhD from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, he was an assistant professor at the UT Southwestern Medical Center and an associate professor of chemistry at The Scripps Research Institute. He has been investigating biofunctional peptoids and their applications in diagnostics and therapeutics over the past 20 years.

His primary research has focused on the immunological aspects of peptoids and the development of practical and effective tools that leverage the versatility and special properties of peptoids. His methods have isolated peptoids against a variety of targets, including proteins, antibodies, and cell-surface receptors involved in disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, neuromyelitis optica, lupus and multiple sclerosis. He continues to work in close collaboration with scientific leaders in academia and industry to develop novel diagnostics and therapeutics against neurodegenerative diseases.
