Sharon Hassin-Baer is director of the Movement Disorders Institute at Chaim Sheba Medical Center and the chair of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Tel-Aviv, Israel. Prof. Hassin-Baer obtained her medical degree from Tel Aviv University, her neurology training from Sheba Medical Center and her training in movement disorders at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Her research focuses on the genetics of Parkinson’s disease as well as other genetic movement disorders.
