Tova Gur Arieh is our team’s consultant in patient and public involvement and engagement, and she has commented on the design and development of this project. She is a member of the patient advisory group within the Mobilise-D project, where she sits on governing committees, advises on the design of research and engagement tasks, the interpretation of results and supports manuscript writing. Tova was born and raised in Israel and studied art history and education in the US. Since 2004, she has worked at NITZAN – The Israeli Association for the Advancement of Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities and ADHD, as the resource development director. She was diagnosed with PD four years ago but experienced symptoms ten years prior to her diagnosis.
