MJFF Vice President of Medical Communications Speaks about Parkinson's on CNN and 'Good Morning America'

"[When you can put a face to the diagnosis], it really helps a lot of people identify with this disease and people who are experiencing the symptoms of Parkinson's can say, 'Hey Michael J. Fox has this disease. Neil Diamond has this disease. I'm not alone in it. I can get involved in my community and in research in other ways'," said Vice President of Medical Communications Rachel Dolhun, MD, during a live interview on HLN (CNN) to discuss Parkinson's disease.

In light of recent public attention paid to Parkinson's, Dr. Dolhun conducted a series of interviews aimed at educating on the disease and reaching new audiences with the Foundation's mission to speed a cure. Dr. Dolhun was also interviewed on Good Morning America for broad commentary on the symptoms associated with Parkinson's and how the disease progresses differently in each individual.
