With two weeks remaining in April, there's still plenty of time to make a difference this Parkinson's Awareness Month. Team Fox continues to strive toward our $1 million goal -- and you can help get us there.

There are quick and simple ways that you can use your current Team Fox resources to engage your network, so consider taking action over the next two weeks to advance Parkinson's research.

• Update your Team Fox page. You've taken the first step and signed up for Team Fox; now use your fundraising page as a place to share your story. Let your community know why you've stepped up to help raise valuable funds for Parkinson's research. For example, Team Fox member Jessica Tracy will head back to the Catskill Mountains to complete her third Rock The Ridge 50 Mile Race on May 6. Jessica has done an incredible job sharing her personal story of why she's been involved with Team Fox. It takes only minutes to update your page -- do it today!
• Share, Share, Share! You've set up your page, added photos and your story -- now what? Share! Whether by email or through social media, share your fundraising page and encourage friends and family to donate during Parkinson's Awareness Month. Remind them that 100 percent of their donation will go directly to fund PD research! Really love to write? Consider starting a blog to document your endeavor like Matt Barbaccia who just completed his Ride4Parkinson's coast to coast bike ride to fundraise for Team Fox!
• Ask Others to Share, Share, Share. Even if social media isn't for you, it's likely that someone you are close to does enjoy perusing Facebook from time to time. Ask friends to share your Team Fox fundraising link -- you never know who they might know.
• Give a Deadline. Sometimes, all it takes is putting a deadline in place to incentivize your community to donate. Do a countdown or send a reminder leading up to the last day of April and ask for their support in making it a #MillionDollarMonth for Parkinson's research!
