Robert Ellis, PhD, worked in finance before cofounding Koneksa Health in 2015 with Matt Cantor and Chris Benko. He began as chief technology officer and in 2019 became head of data science. Dr. Ellis is a physicist by training with a focus on numerical modelling. Most of his career has been spent building systems and analyzing data and managing programs. In 2018,he began research on Parkinson’s disease, which claimed the life of his father. His focus has now expanded to cover multiple sclerosis and other disorders of the central nervous system. His life’s passion and motivation involves applying his skills to help find new ways to measure and analyze data in studies that will benefit human health.
