Robin Ketteler, PhD, is group leader and manager of the Translational Research Resource Facility at University College London. Dr. Ketteler trained at the Max-Planck Institute for Immunology in Freiburg, Germany, and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. At University College London, he directs a research team with a main interest in the molecular regulation of autophagy and mitogenic signal transduction. Dr. Ketteler also manages a high-throughput screening facility using siRNA-based technologies and small molecule based high-content screening in cell-based assays. Dr. Ketteler is frequently invited to give lectures and presentations at national and international conferences and has received multiple awards for his research. His current research is supported through funding from the Medical Research Council, BBSRC, University College London and the Wellcome Trust.
