Rick Tigner joined the Board of Directors of The Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2013. He is the CEO of Jackson Family Wines, where he is responsible for leading global sales, marketing, communications and production organizations, as well as the administrative functions of this family business founded by wine icon Jess Jackson.
A beverage alcohol industry veteran, he has been deeply involved for 27 years. He first joined Kendall-Jackson in 1991, after holding positions at Miller Brewing Company, Gallo and Louis M. Martini.
Along with his wife Wendy, Rick works with The Michael J. Fox Foundation helping to raise money for Parkinson's research by organizing the Tour de Fox Wine Country Ride in Sonoma California, an annual event that takes place each August and has raised over $1M since 2015. He is the father of three children, Richard, Lisa and Becky.
Mr. Tigner holds a BS from San Diego State University.
